Diverter Valve upgrade

Has anyone replaced the stock one for the upgraded one offered by Extreme powerhouse products?....If so, how was it?

I have been using the GFB one since I upgraded to PS2 and it holds best very well and no issues since install.

Do you have a link? I couldn't find it on their site. I was looking into the turbosmart one that is vent to atmosphere for the sound

i had the GFB and went to the turbosmart kompact. Way better!!

You can't go Vent to atmosphere unless you convert to a MAFLess tune like $Showtime$ has.

The dual port Turbo smart is the one I am planning on upgrading to. So to clarify, is a tune required for this one? I am now running a Jb4.

it's a PITA to do. like everyone says, the top bolt is the hard to get to. it took me several hours to do from what i remember

This might be a dumb question but if you want to vent to atmosphere then you have to tune it as well? How do you guys go about tuning?

Just to make a suggestion here for all since I'm looking to do this as well! I think that if you want to replace this, it's a good idea to replace the water pump.

Especially on the older F10s like mine with 114k miles on the original water pump. The way I see it, to get to that infamous top bolt you should unbolt the water pump to give you some clearance. If you REMOVE the water pump you have all the space in the world to easily get to the DV. At this point (again, especially with higher mileage F10s) you might as well replace that old pump "while you're in there".

OK, been at it for over 2 hours and all I can say is this sucks. it'll be worth it, but this sucked. I learned a neat trick for the top bolt and I'm only taking a break to free up space on my phone cause yes, it took that long while video taping... Can't wait to take it for a test drive here soon... at 2am.

Dang! Yeah, I've heard the top bolt is the worst part. Looking forward to hearing about this trick.
