Key card retrofit
The newer BMW's have a key card that can unlock/start the car using NFC. From what I can tell, the F10 doesn't have NFC, but I was wondering if any of you have a solution for hacking a key card to lock/unlock the door. I'd like to avoid carrying the large key fob when running/hiking and lock in in the car instead. Thanks in advance.

It wasn't offered for an F10.
I won't say you can't do the retrofit but boy will that be expensive. Then in the end you will still have trouble as they went to great lengths to avoid locking your fob in the car. |
