I got this malfunction error and the park assist stopped working, but the parking sensors and cameras work fine. I've noticed that it seems to work when I just start the car, when it is cold, and it stops working when the car is warmed up- even after turning it off and on. Any ideas?

OK then. Seems to me there is a failure in the self-driving portion of the system but the "dumb" functions still work. I wonder if they're independent of the self-driving. Are there any codes? How's the fuse?

As complicated as the system is, I'd imagine you'll need to visit the dealer or a BMW specialist.

Thats the idea... It works when the car is cold, so its not a fuse issue. I got an error code for a left sensor, but Im not sure what parts are involved in the system.

Update. The sensor that seems to be malfunctioning is the PMA sensor, located in the left fender. Got it ordered and we'll see if that's the culprit.
