$1200 isn't going to take you very far with quality parts, if you want to do well by the car you're going to need to be open to spending a bit more. A tune is your best bang for the buck, intake an exhaust do little to increase performance and quality components can easily double your budge each.
Mission Performance has the best tunes for your car, there is no "chip" its flashed directly to the DME via cable and MP software. https://missiontuning.com/bmw-f10-20...-software.html Last edited by Stück; 07-07-2018 at 12:41 PM.. |

It comes down to; do you want more performance or you want your car to sound cool? BTW the M5 exhaust will not sound like an M5 on the 550.

I think in the long run you're gonna need all of it. with the performance gains from a tune you're still gonna want an exhaust with a nice tone. save a bit more and get it all at once if you can.

Any muffler mod is for sound only... I wouldn't bet on any performance gains. Chip tune is a very easy way to get more power... nothing insane but give you a lot of pull at highway speeds.
