Just flashed my DME

My initial impressions on the bootmod3 is WOW! I wish I just went straight to flashing. It’s noticably smoother than the JB4 piggyback. This is not a post bashing JB4 but being that the f chassis cars can now by flashed through the OBD I see little use for the JB4. Even the price points are pretty close. It’s not that much more powerful, HOWEVER the power is available much sooner and last longer than the JB4. My car pulls as hard from 70 as it does 40. While maintaining that smoothness. I have noticed higher highway oil temps but nothing alarming. I will post a 0-100 video or something online

Nice same engine as me I've been wanting to get the bootmod3 so bad it's good to hear input from another owner with the same engine. You bought one map?

Update on Bootmod3 528i n20

The ECU unlock and flashing was smooth, obviously I was alittle scared but it was cool. It takes alittle driving to get the car adjusted to the tune however you definitely can feel the difference over JB4. The car is ALOT less rough, before I figured I need coils or plugs but after loading the flash the shaking went away. On the JB4 I noticed the would not be much off the line torque but more so after 3k it punches. NOW you feel it all down at 1.5k like it’s supposed to be. And it pulls to redline. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And when you want to go back in for service just flash back to stock and relock, the program automatically erases tuner codes seen by dealers. The only thing about the JB4 I preferred is the ability to run e30 blend and quickly switch maps.

I made a few videos:

I've been contemplating about selling my JB as well for my N20 and going this route... I might just have to do this....
