just watched this on 4k and this movie was seriously badass! Can't wait for the 3rd release

Same here dude, watched it twice over the weekend. Some really didn't like the ending but I thought it was awesome. Reminded me of the Godfather

Did you watch the first movie? Did you enjoy that one?

I thought Soldado was a bit weaker than Sicario as a standalone movie, but still found it quite enjoyable.

A friend of mine who is really into theater came up with the best perspective that I've come across: Think of Soldado as Act 2 of a 3 act play, since this story was written with the intent to be 3 movies from the get-go.

Still much better than "meh", IMO, regardless.

I'll agree with this all day long! So tired of all the superhero movies and the remakes of remakes of superhero movies. Give me something raw, gritty and real over fantasy any day of the week.

i miss the old skool crazy action pack movies like Die Hard, Blade, Lethal Weapon, The Negotiator, Passenger 57, Bad Boys. all i see now are what Super Hero movies can we make. for god's sake i think i saw a clip with "Chuck" as Shazamm??!!

I feel you. I'm the same way. The continuation of action movies that tried to fit that bill such as The Expendables I just couldn't stomach. Movies like Den of Thieves are spot on.

now Den of Thieves...that was a badass movie! that main bad guy in that movie was on 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. that was a sweet movie! any military movies 12 Strong, Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Fury. the movie I was looking forward too and kinda sucked was Dunkirk
