Stoner left the sport for a reason at his peak. He had it with MotoGP.

Sepang was, IMO, a great battle and Rossi let Marquez get in his head, but that's no excuse to put someone rubber up.

After watching Valencia, I could see that Marc had the pace to pass Lorenzo, but chose to stay behind him and even go so far as to protect him from Pedrosa. I don't buy the fact that Marc said he attempted a pass. He could have made more of an effort. Makes me wonder if/what Dorna knew. It's no secret that the whole organization is a Spanish Racket.

I hope that going forward, the remaining years that Rossi spends in the sport will include a "healthy" rivalry with Marquez. This one has clearly already turned into something more. At least Rossi and Marquez haven't come to physical blows yet, like what happened with Rossi and Biaggi in Catalunya.
At that point it's time for Rossi to go. This can end up with someone getting killed on the track.

In fact if I'm Rossi I would end it now. 7 time premier champ, almost won an 8th on his last chance. Sound good to me.

Rossi is too stubborn to retire, he'll be back next year with a vengeance... Will be good for him, to have that fire burning so hot...

As for Marquez - he pissed away what would've / could've been a talented wealthy future... Just stupid and ignorant on his part... This could have been one of the most epic season finales and we've all been denied that opportunity... I'm still bitter with MotoGP over it...

I finally watched and can't believe the last three laps. Sure, everyone could have predicted Rossi charging like he did but Dani to come flying at the end- that was awesome. Marquez stayed right with Lorenzo without making any attempt at passing for the entire race. As soon as Dani showed up, Marquez started to fight back, scraped with him and Lorenzo took the final lead. Pathetic if you ask me. Rossi will be back...

Rossi doesn't have years left though. Next year is his last on the contract if he comes back.

Marc had 2 options:
1. Race like a pro a try to win the race
2. Race like Miss Daisy and wait for Rossi to take revenge

Of course number 2 would have been more show for us but he did good and and run like a pro. Good job Marc. The Moto Gp committee should have banned Rossi from racing forever and ever. What a stupid SOAB. What if Marc would have gotten hurt!!! Again what a stupid SOAB. Doesn't deserve being there anymore. If he got away with this one anyone could get away with anything.

Sportsman gets banned from golf, tennis, basketball....from any sport for breaking one of the big rules. I have the feeling that the rules do not apply to the champions.

If I'm not wrong Hamilton tries to run off Nico on the second turn on Mexico. He should be sanctioned as well.

What's wrong with these guys? Are they paying under the table to let these things go? Don't understand....

Good point. As much as I'd like to see him back on a MotoGP bike, I don't blame him for leaving. I will say that his V8 Supercars career was rather lackluster.

A lot of the American riders are really good at backing it in. Since most of them grew up racing on dirt.

I have no respect for Marquez now. He is very fast and talented but a really bad sport. There was no way Rossi could have made it to second with Marquez out there. In order to win the race he had to be almost 2 second faster than the fastest three guys on the track. Maybe 12 years ago he could have did it but not at 36. But you know what, he has beat both Lorenzo and Marquez so that's something for a 36 year old.
