I've been really examining my new bumper compared to a F90 M5 bumper and they look identical. I was looking to compare if they had to do any modification in order for this to work. I'm really comparing the openings, the curves and it looks like they're identical. From what I can tell it looks like they might have cut just below where the front grills are and took a F10 top part of the bumper where the grills are and meshed it together. I dunno..it just seems that's how they did this.

I wanted to know in regards of you getting the aftermarket F90 bumper I wanted to know if it has the markings or locations to install your original front bumper sensors?

It does not. According to the manufacturer you would have to drill out for those sensors. For me. I don't have sensors so I didn't have to worry about drilling holes

Also curious of quality too, I was thinking of repainting my bumper and hood too and looking at these bumpers. I was thinking of M5 bumper but after seeing this M4 style I like it.

I believe that m4 style bumper is fiberglass the rep m5 bumper that ls bought is poly urethane

I don't know the quality of the M4 bumper I posted. There's two versions actually depending on where you buy it from. One is made of polyplene which is like OEM and the other is fiberglass if you decide to go with the M4 design. There's a carbon fiber spoiler that can be used with the M4 bumper that sells for $400. The F90 bumper I bought is made out of polyplene. The quality is very very good. Everything is smooth and clean. My shop said all they had to do is clean it up before they paint as they said the bumper looks to be very well made. I do want to test fit it first. I may do that tomorrow or maybe later on this evening.

I'm a body guy by trade, I've done countless body kits and seen some really bad especially fiber glass kits. there is some nicer ones without spending a small fortune. Your pics show clean lines, looks like it will fit good.

Back in the late 90's that's what all the body kits were made out of fiberglass. We paid more for the body shop to actually make it fit and look right. Nowadays most body components are made out of polyplene so quality has been much improved

Both as well as sharing with other members who may not have seen it mounted to an F10. I'm still looking for a pic with a better angle to get a better feel for how it will look.

it's a pretty sweet bumper. I would only get this if I was getting the carbon front splitter with it. I feel without it it's missing something.

alright guys got around to mocking this up yesterday after work. so far everything seems to line up good. the top where it meets the hood I need to make some adjustments which is no problem. I do want to ask should I have the mesh grills painted JetBlack or leave them alone?

new front bumper support


mesh grills installed. I will say these snapped in place with no issues whatsoever. the quality is on point









so wanted to show how things lined up. pretty tight if you ask me as most aftermarket bumpers give you about a 90% fit





and here's where it meets the hood. just need to make some minor adjustments

alright people! here it is! bumper splitters didn't fit as I realized that the M5 F90 is wider than the F10. kinda sucks but I posted them for sale in the M5 F90 forum

I should've taken a picture before I put the carbon fiber lip but here's what it looks like. completely larger as it doesn't fit length wise



but here's the final product. I think it looks clean with just the carbon fiber splitter and if those bumper inserts worked I think it would've look too busy
