Another 535i Muffler Delete ?????

Just a sound clip of my 535 sans mufflers, some say it's ricey but I love it!

I don't but I will be recording some soon, really hard to capture that with just the mic from a phone

Gotcha, no worries man. Just want to gauge the actual loudness. I'm really thinking about doing it but I would like to avoid drone if possible and I was having a hard time finding youtube videos that captured any kind of cabin driving. I think I may just hold out for some aftermarket mufflers...

There is a bit of drone when it's cold around 1000 rpm but it's really not bad

Muffler Delete has always been notorious for drone issues.

I installed my bmw performance exhaust to mine today and while the mufflers were cut off I started car, didn’t sound as loud as I had expected... that being said, with the performance exhaust on the car is the perfect amount of loud, no drone, not obnoxious, love it!

Nah, its not as bad as everyone says. Honestly its better to do a muffler delete and have $2k in the bank. The drone is really only there at cold start (I just warm up my car) and at like 70 mph/1.8k rpms.

The drone is noticeable I won't lie, but only when it's cold, once it warms up you're fine. It wasn't worth it for a performance exhaust for me and from the outside it sounds sweet!
