Error Code: CD9203

Hello everyone!

I am a new proud owner of a beautiful 2014 535i F10 and I have basically bought it without checking any codes, basically I took a test drive and the price was too good so I jumped the gun (so far everything seems great, knocking on wood) but now that its mine I have checked the codes and it looks good.

There are only 3 main codes, 2 related to the TMS module of the headlight which I already found much info about on this forum. And the other one is the one in the title:

CD9203: LIN, message; radiator shutter: missing

Thats it, only three codes. And with regards to the active radiator shutters, I believe I cought them once as soon I shut off the car as they were closing, so they seem operational.

Has anyone have any experience with this specific code?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Update:

I took the car to a good mechanic/electrician ans they confirmed that the actuator was actually faulty. They traced the wires from the actuator to the glovebox fusebox and the fuse was fried. They replaced it but soon after it got fried again. They went back to check the actuator of the shutters and it felt hot. So faulty actuator. I don't think BMW sells the actuator seperately as it comes built-in with the air duct but it would be great if someone can confirm that.

I think you are right - the actuator doesn't appear to be available separately. You would need to obtain the whole air duct panel. On my car this is listed on RealOEM at https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...40#51747224662
