Wheel Offset Help 20x9 ET35 All Around on F10 528i

I'm hoping someone could help me out.

Car:
BMW 528i

Wheel Specs for all four:
20x9
et35

Tire size was 245/45r20

When I went to test the rim in the front, it touched the strut. The rear is fine. Now I'm wondering if I should try to return it (if I can) or use a spacer and pray it doesn't rub.

The funny thing is I went to a popular size that sells these wheels, and they said it would be a perfect fit. I thought I saw a few posts with people running it, but they never mentioned using spacers. Is anyone here running this spec in the front?

Any help would be appreciated since I love the look of these wheels. They don't sell any other sizes when it comes to the offset.

Hello,

I'm running that same wheel size on all 4 corners of my 535 M-sport x-drive.

Using 12mm and 15mm spacers for front and back, respectively. Tire size is 255 35 20. No issues with clearance.

Hope this helps.

Did you try it with 245/45/20 tires on? Those tires are way too big.

I did. It is the width (245) or aspect ratio (45) of the tire that's way too big?

Any recommendation on a size that will Fit?

Thanks for this. I'm hoping someone can confirm the correct tire size. I'm not sure if the two cars are exact replicas regarding the size. The good news is I don't have any tires on right now. If there is a tire size issue, great. If not, then I don't mind throwing on some spacers.

It's too tall because the aspect ratio it too high. OEM is 245/35/20, but 245/40/20 will also fit.
The aspect ratio number is the tire sidewall height in per cent of the tire width.

Hi guys. So I have a 2013 528i. I know very little about this topic. So sounds like I would be good with Michelin Pilot Supersport tires set up at:
Front 225-40zr18
Rears 245-35zr18

Those are too short - the OP was talking about 20" wheels when everyone was saying 35 or 40 profile was needed.

For 18" wheels the stock size is 245/45r18 and optionally for the rear, 275/40r18.

What width and offset are your wheels?
