I have a 2016 F10 520D, it has a business nav 606 (6.5" screen), my BMW driving fan friend says it's a CHAMP2 business navigation, is this right?

The various info screens show:

Going to the bmw.com/update site shows no updates available.

In the options list it says:

- S606 Navigation System Business
- S654 DAB Tuner
- S698 Area-Code 2 For DVD
- S6AC Intelligent Emergency Call
- SGAE Teleservices
- S6AK Connected Drive Services
- S6WA Instrument Panel With Extended Scope

I thought the CHAMP2 system doesn't support DAB, how can I check for sure what system I have?

The BMW app on the phone shows I can subscribe to get latest maps and per annually, but is there any way to just update the maps?

MOVE is CHAMP2, you have ROUTE which is ENTRYNAV.
The update on the bmw website is mostly bluetooth related. From the software version it looks like you are on latest firmware.
For the maps update you update without subscribing. You can extract the FSC and use it to generate the activation code.
