New Owner - F11 525d

Good evening all! I've been an E90 owner for a couple of years, along with my wife's F20 114i. So the need for more space arose, mostly as my 2 teenagers couldn't comfortably fit in the E90, so I started looking at new cars. I'll be honest & say I had a shortlist of a F10, F11, or Audi A6 (saloon or avant). The A6 saloon was the first to be ruled out, as rear headroom was poor. The A6 avants are great, but I couldn't do a Multitronic gearbox because of their reliability issues. Prices are high too. So the F10 & F11 were the only choice, with the F11 getting the edge because of space.

So on to the car I found - a 2013 pre-facelift F11 525d SE. It's the 2.0 N47S engine, 218bhp. The spec is great as far as I'm concerned, and includes:
Auto gearbox
Pan roof
Comfort memory heated seats
Sat nav (small screen though)
Electric boot lift
Adaptive suspension
Driving modes (EcoPro, Comfort +, Comfort, Sport, Sport+)
Full BMW service history

The colour is Tiefseeblau Metallic, or Deep Sea Blue if you prefer, with Oyster leather. It has the light carpets and light dash colour, which ideally I wouldn't have had, but they look great in real life. Ask me again about the carpets in winter.

Photos to follow later this week, but jobs so far have been:
Oil change & air filter (bought knowing it was due)
Sat Nav update - it was still running 2013 maps
Carly programming, including Digital Speedometer, Sport Gauges on the iDrive screen, removal of auto-dipping passenger mirror on reversing (annoyed me more than pleased me) and start in Eco Pro mode.

Future plans, subject to change, are:
M-Sport steering wheel & paddles (currently has no paddles)
Remap (I have my favourite tuner so he'll give me the options - probably more limited than the N57 525d, but hey ho)
Reverse Camera (not a high priority, granted)
18in wheels (currently on 17's which I'll keep for winter tyres)
Upgrade the speakers
A bloody good clean. The underbonnet area is 'very genuine' & filthy. Not oily, just dirty/dusty)

Photos to follow as I said!

Nice car, I would get 19" wheels. Even with RFTs the ride is good these days

No accidents; it was in for a air con regas in May (according to the previous owner) so maybe something to do with that.
I've cleaned it off anyhow & replaced the picture above. I hadn't even noticed it before now!

I've been playing with INPA this morning & seeing if I could get it to work with the F10/F11 chassis, as I never previously had the option. I loaded the appropriate files & launcher, and it worked out of the box. So my modules fitted look like this:

An interesting & comprehensive list (well, more comprehensive than either my F20 or the previous E90)!

Get ISTA and an ENET cable you'll have a far better and more intuitive time with the F11.

Why did you code out the mirror dipping on reverse? You just need to move the mirror adjustment switch to the passenger side and it then doesn't dip.

I got that thanks, I hadn't coded it out as it seems, I just had the switch in the wrong (or right) position
I've done some coding using Carly, and some interrogation with INPA. I have no retrofits to do, so am ok with everything as it is at the moment. I'm loving the car; it's averaging almost 50mpg, is fast & so comfortable too.
