Upgraded turbos N63/N63TU
Guys,
Saw on another BMW forum about "boost" that Vargas Turbo Tech is offering upgraded turbos for the S63/S63TU. I looked up pricing on their website, and they are listed at $5499 for the pair, and the ability to make up to 800 whp with fuel and timing support. On the same post a VTT rep said the N63/N63TU turbo upgrades are right on the heels of the M5 offerings. It sounds like Burger, or at the very least Terry, is helping out the owner who purchased the upgraded turbos with tuning support. Not sure the JB can get it done, but it sure can't hurt. Still don't know how I missed this, as I've been waiting for an update.

Dinan is also offering bigger turbos, just noticed they added it the other day I wouldnt run big turbos on 11-12 550i due to those shitty injectors unless 100% fixed

By the time you add up all the costs for turbos, additional parts, labor, tuning, ect you might as well buy an M5. Not worth the cost and probably a whole lot of aggravation. Just my $.02

Got a few years left on the CPO... after that, hopefully, these turbos will be out and BMS has a tuning solution... then the fun will begin. This would be awesome since my 550i is not a DD...
