KP, you're like 10 days too late for me. Just ordered same wheels last week, only in Gloss Black. Was wavering between that and the brushed silver after seeing your photos. These wheels are really beautiful, sorry to see you parting with the car, but GLWS, and GLWHouse!

Kenny or Rowan, I know these fit the CCB's but specifically to Rowan if you don't mind me asking, did your vendor happen to mention the clearance between the barrel and the rotors? Or for Kenny, was there more rotor/barrel clearance with these vs your OEM wheels? Asking due to the CCB "pebbles stuck in the rotors" issues discussed in the Wheels sub forum. I LOVE these wheels btw, looking for an excuse to buy them.

I think you misunderstood Kenny, I know the widths and offsets are good...perfect actually...but the issue with clearing the CCB's has to do with the clearance (in mm's) between the brake calipers/rotors and the inner barrel of the wheel. On the OEM setup with CCB's there's less than 5mm to play with which allows road debris (small pebbles) to get stuck and damage the inner wheel barrel as you're driving. Just wondering what this gap size is with the BC's, don't want to waste your time if they leave the same amount of room as the OEM's and therefore will likely cause the same issues. I know your car's gone, guess I was hoping you remembered if your rotors/calipers had more room to breath in the OEM setup or more/less room when you put the BC's on.

I never had any issues, so I never checked...
I am not sure how to calculate that clearance, I guess it somewhat depends on the inner clearances and the spoke design? With stock brakes I had no issues either way. I wish I could answer your question |

I won't have the car until ~~2 months after I have the wheels, but as soon as I do know I'll inform the forums. The work on my car will be done at ACM, where the wheels will also be at when shipped. I'm going to ask them nicely to see if they can test fit on a CCB car, if they have one available. I'm confident that the clearance will not be less than OEM (As less is practically impossible - IIRC there's 2-3mm clearance only).

And Kenny thanks for trying to help out and I'm sorry to have bothered you. Still love the wheels but I have to wait and find out what kind of room they'll leave with these PITA brakes lol.

Wow KP, that was a hell of a quick ownership. Good luck with the house and looking forward to seeing you back in an M soon. I'll be in the same situation... eventually. Until then...
Free bump!
