DIY: front bumper removal non m w/ pictures!
9 pages i went through and nothing with pictures! anybody have a link or did i just miss it? appreciate it guys!
Okay...decided to post a DIY with pictures for those of you who are contemplating doing it yourself. 1) "Pop the hood" as how our fallen brother Paul Walker said to Vin Diesel 2) locate the rubber seal just above where the bumper and Hood meet 3) Peel the rubber gasket completey off CAREFULLY 4) there are 4 of these pull/push type fasteners u need to remove. I used a small pliers but just pull the pin up like so and wiggle it as both parts should come up 5) next there are 4 T30 torx bolts that need to be removed 6) now next step would be to turn your wheel in depending on which side you're working first 7) there are 3 screws you will need to remove inside the fender wheel using a 5/16" socket Bottom Middle Top right where the fender/bumper meet 8) here is where you'll need to go next...where the fender meets the front bumper. Doesn't matter which side you do first as they're both the same. As you can see I popped the fender liner open a bit 9) there are 2 more 5/16" screws to remove...the one all the way inside takes a bit or work as you really have to pull the fender well out and in a bit to get to. Up can see the screw next to my thumb The 2nd one you can see way up inside 10) had to google these next images but next remove lower grills. Pull them with your fingers as they are just snapped in like so 11) remove the 2 5/16" screws 12) disconnect the fog lights from the harness by simply squeezing the tabs and pulling out. I put the fog lights in my trunk so I don't scratch the lens 13) last thing is to remove the 8 5/16" bolts underneath 14) now all you have to do carefully is wiggle the bumper off and that's it. Install is the same. Hope that helps everyone as I searched all over the internet for DIY with pictures and came up empty

Nice write up, thanks. I will be installing my Beltronics STi-R+ when I can find some time to do it. I don't think 3M tape is going to work well holding the radar receiver to the bumper housing. I'd rather bolt it on.

As long as you clean the surface very well the 3m tape will hold very well! But if you can find away to bolt it on than kudos!
