Anyone use Carbotech XP12 or XP10s
Looking at getting a set of XP12s. Anyone running these yet? Anyone running anything else that you can comment on. I have a requirement for a noncorrosive pad since I will be using stock expensive wheels that I don't want to have get ruined because of corrosion from brake dust.

I used XP10 last summer at the track. They were fine. I don't think Carbotech does a good job on their BMW pads unlike their Corvette pads. They are CRAZY loud even with lots of heat in them. The XP10 I had on my C7 didn't have any issues.
I'm likely going to use a different track pad this summer.

I'm very late to the party! But the Carbotech xp10 pads are pretty good. Way better than stock, but that's not staying much. The m2c pads are horrible they literally melt with hard braking. Also the wear on the rotors are significantly better, by like 5X!!! My rotors were getting killed with the freaking stock pads.
The xp10 pads have a Great initial bite and it keeps a consistent hold! There was some pad drag but that was because of the brake fluid more than the pads. I'll probably try the xp12's next. |

I think results vary greatly depending on driver and track. I’ve had zero issue with both my M2C and current M2CS driving at Mid Ohio. Stock setup (with fluid change) was 100% fine.
Not everyone brakes the same and different tracks carry different demands on brakes. |
