Replica Carbon Fiber Diffusers
Has anyone bought the Carbon Fiber diffusers that are on eBay / Amazon?
If so, was the quality and fitment good?

eBay can be very hit or miss, but Im sure some members will chime in with ones that worked for them (and hopefully some that didn't so you can avoid). I have dealt with the website RW Carbon before, and from what I understand they sell similar replicas to the ebay ones, but they quality check them and stock them / are located in the US so it seems to be a bit safer. I ordered CF mirrors from them and had no major issues. Much of the CF on ebay I have found to be very inferior in quality as opposed to some bmw CF I have purchased (trunk spoiler), it was night and day

All my CF parts are reps from eBay minus the side mirrors... Why pay 3-4x cost for real CF part when its going to get scratched and messed up anyways.
Seen so many people with authentic Vorsteiner CF front lips that are all busted... mine only cost $150 vs something 3-4x more. If mine breaks, its so cheap I can go get another one.

If so, who was the seller and how was the fitment? Here are the ones I'm looking at but haven't pull the trigger due to no fitment feedback. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...RXe31v&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...RWgk36&vxp=mtr

here's mine...the rear diffuser is the DTM style from CNAutofans. as you can see fitment wasn't too bad...it was a PITA to install as you can see from my thread here: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1197278

Did all the screws line up fine with your front lip?

Both of the eBay rep carbon fiber Vorsteiner lips fit terrible, and they were $350-450ea. A $150 price reflects the plastic lip. The genuine Vorsteiner lip fits flawlessly, and it is about $1300. Mine should be here Monday.... |

No matter how much money I have, I will never pay $1000+ on a front lip. I can think of many other things that would be better to spend that much money on. A perfect fitting lip will still look tacky when it has a bunch of scrapes on it. You can get a carbon fiber lip off eBay and get it close to 100% fitment, you need to be handy with tools. A bit of cutting and shaving and you'll save over $1000 and no feeling of remorse when you eventually scrape the thing.
