2006 330i for sale
I have a 2006 330i for sale, mechanics special. I bought the car with 200,000 miles on it a couple of years ago. I don't usually get into the mileage, but it was so well kept and had all records, I couldn't pass it up. It now has 237,800 on it and still runs like new. The good: Well maintained with all service up to date. New battery new water pump new brakes new DISA valves new plugs all new rear suspension last month. NO RUST body is very clean with no dents, one scratch Newer Z rated tires on M rims Blizzaks on BMW stock wheels (one season on them) The bad: I haven't used the car in over a month as I bought an X5. It sat in my driveway during that time and as cars will do, the brakes stuck. When I went to drive it to the car wash today it was obvious that the front right brake was stuck, like a parking brake was on. I gave it a little throttle to pop it loose and I heard a loud crack. Got out to look and couldn't see anything wrong, so I drove it carefully down the road. Drove just fine. Then I smelled rubber. Got out to check again and noticed the right front sitting low. Drive VERY slowly back to the driveway to get it up on jack stands. The right front coil spring has broken and was rubbing on the inside of the tire. SO, it will need a new tire and new front coil springs (and I would image shocks). I have no time to dedicate to this. I know there is a lot of life left in the car, and this could be a great deal for someone that wants to turn a wrench and fix it. I won't move much on my price, as I can part it out for more than I am asking. You'll need a trailer. I have a clean title.
