Jaguar XFS to 520d

Hi. Just saying hello.

I've just moved over from a Jaguar XFS after having a little boy as we needed the bigger boot and something cheaper to run.

Here are a few pictures of it.

Nice car...I was thinking about getting a 2016 XFS, but decided against it as I was only being offered $14k on my 2011 535i. From all the reviews I have watched on the XFS, it handles much better (due to extensive use of aluminum), and 3.0 supercharged (380 hp) is a gem of an engine. What made you switch over to the BMW?

Looks great!

What are the tire sizes front and rear on those wheels? Might be too short in diameter based on the skinny sidewalls.

The rind on this doesn't even come close to that of the Jag, I didn't really notice on the test drive how bad it is over bumps and potholes.

Both cars have 255/35/20s and I've been reading that it could be down to the run-flats?

It was either this or an Audi a6 but the wife fell in love with the looks of this over the Audi.

20" and RFTs won't help the ride at all. Are the tyres definitely RFTs?

Love the MPerformance bits on your car. Isn't 5-series too big for U.K roads?

They have to be, it can't be this bad on normal tyres.

It's big but cars are slowly getting bigger over here. I've not had it in a multistory carpark yet.

Reason I question it, the size you state is not a regular 5-series BMW size. Not sure there are many RFTs around in that size.

MyTyres only have one RFT listed in the size and it isn't a BMW (star marked) tyre.

Ive been out and checked the tyres and they are in fact 275/30/20 rear and 235/35/20 front.
