Aftermarket warranty: worth it?

I just purchased a 2011 550i last month. It had 79,xxx miles on it when I drove it off the lot. It now has 80,xxx miles on it. I got a quote from Route 66 for an aftermarket warranty. The quote was for 3 yr/36,000 miles from the date of purchase for $3,075. I was hoping for a 4 year warranty, but this is the longest they would do it for. Is this worth it, in your past experiences?

Yes. Especially for that engine
