F10 Rear Jack Point

Is it ok to lift from the beam next to rear differential? I have marked the same on the picture?

I'm not sure. What I've done is using a 3/4" to 1" thick wood square and put it between my jack and the differential. Pretty much a cushion for the diff. since the wood gives in and does not damage your diff. Rubber would work too.

I wouldn't! stick to the OEM jacking points.
