Good afternoon, I am having an issue (another one...) with the hatchback.
The small lid of the trunk will open, but the bigger one won't move.
I can hear the lock activate when I click on the handle, but I can't lift it/open it in any way.
I did check the fuse, it seems to be OK.
Any idea what to look for?

Did you resolve your problem ? sounds like the lock is not disengaging need to pull the release tab inside, its glow in the dark to release then close again maybe just not closed right.

I have the same problem. All of a sudden the lift gate trunk will not open with driver button, hatch button or FOB. Small one opens. Fuses 155, 156 and 183 are OK. The emergency pull only opens the small trunk.

Any ideas?

FWIW: Dealer says the lock failed. $400 in parts. $600 in labor.
