How many have done a coolant flush on their LCI 550i?

Original coolant in my 550i is 7 years old, 37k miles, and I've read a lot of mixed information regarding changing the coolant. BMW states lifetime, I don't buy that, every fluid breaks down eventually.

I wanting to buy OEM BMW coolant (then 50/50 mix it). My local dealer, Classic BMW, refused to do the coolant service stating it can cause issues to arise... Are other N63TU owners doing coolant changes?

2013 550i 62k miles still same coolant.
When they did my coolant lines I don't know how much coolant was lost I think they just topped off.
For all I know coolant looks good I have no plans on changing it until 100k
I do not drive my car in winter 👍🏻

I just did mine when I had to replace the infamous turbo coolant lines - haven't had any issues. I mean, any work on the coolant system will require draining and I can't see how the dealership claims that could create issues. I didn't do a complete flush because the coolant looked great to me at 68K, just drained it all and refilled it.

Kewl, I think I'm gonna go ahead and change the coolant while I have the lift just to give myself peace of mind, it's super easy from reading the DIY. Good to hear after 7 plus years and decent mileage the factory fill is holding up well.

Double check your turbo coolant line T connectors aren't leaking before you do the flush. It's a very common fault on the N63 and best to replace them if you're draining the coolant anyway.

I’ve inspected all the connects, all still look solid. Wondering if I should just do the connector mod while the coolant is out
