I have a 2011 bmw 550i base non tu n63 is there any way that an n63tu is plug and play if it was to be swapped from a n63 to a n63tu if not is it even possible to swap the two. i dont like the unreliability that comes with the non tu n63 and kinda want more power so giving it a thought and figured id bring that thought here any information helps greatly!

It's not going to be plug and play. There are plenty of differences, it would be cheaper/more effective to buy a newer 550.
I mean... you might be able to if you spent a lot of money and time, MAYBE, but it would be cheaper to just buy a newer one. I've got one I'm selling with lower miles.
