Does this 'Fuel Pressure Sensor' needs to be pushed in fully?

Hello - I have a 2013 F10 528i N20 BMW

I am replacing this fuel pressure sensor for F10 528i. I took a video beforehand but the angle is bad so i am not able to tell whether it was previously inserted fully or not . I installed a new one in there and i tightened a bit using my wrench but there is some space at the moment.

Should I tighten it even more so there is no gap or should i leave it as it is? The gap is about 0.2 ~ 0.3 mm.
