What drives these visits? I've noticed a big increase in visitors lately, so I started noting the numbers. The visits to my profile increased 13,000 from Friday. I don't think that's due to members or forum readers being curious about me. I'm not that popular.

My profile seems to be twice as popular as yours for some reason.

Anyway, my guess is that a search engine or spammer is slurping the site -- possibly for AI training.....

It’s a massive influx of bots. They are so good now they pretend to be people and even complain when they can’t get full site access 🤦

Mine went up 100 since I posted. On the morning of Feb 16th, I was at 217,472. I am now at 235,106. Almost 18,000 in 10 days.

They use your profile pages as the launching pad to do their ai nasty work via links to posts you’ve made; since their complaint emails/PMs go nowhere. Of course the content they are getting may not be the real site content 😂. I leave that little headache for them to figure out 😀

Are you running a honeypot full of fake Honda content to feed the AI/bots?

FWIW, my count has now gone up by 202 since the above screen capture (200 unaccounted page views, plus my two to check the count).

Is there a way that you can block viewing the user profile pages for unauthenticated users? Judging by the last 10 visitors on mine, these views appear to be coming from unauthenticated users.....

Yes there are easy ways to block them but it increases my headache of having to read the AI bot themselves complaining about how they are blocked. Tbh, I’m putting that effort into moving the new beta site forward as it does do a much better job of seamlessly dealing with the bots

I've also been receiving almost daily notifications that threads that I created long ago are suddenly popular and being awarded extra reputation points. AI must be slurping the site.....
