BMW F10 2014 phare condensation

Hi everyone,

I have a 2014 BMW F10 and I’m having an issue with condensation in the driver-side headlight.

The headlight was already resealed by a garage using windshield silicone, and they told me it’s sealed everywhere properly. However, I still get condensation inside the headlight whenever it rains, which doesn’t seem normal to me.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way to fix it without removing the headlight again?

Thanks in advance!

Throw 2-3 silicone packets in there and replace every few months.

These packets work very well:

According to BMW it is normal to have slight condensation if it goes away. The caps snd covers also can leak in. It is recommended to replace those as well.

Remove the cap. Drive the car 1-2 days with the headlight on. The moisture will mostly dry out.
