2025 m340i paint warranty claim?

Hi guys was hand washing the car today and noticed the paint peeling right under the passenger side taillight. Car is ceramic coated and only ever been hand washed. Got the car new about 9 months ago and has 8k miles. Not sure what might’ve caused this and if it’ll spread. Would this be worth a warranty claim?

I don't say this in a negative way but I hope you have a really good relationship with your dealer because most Car Manufacturers would like to skip out paint repairs because they almost always try to blame it on external influences. Hopefully your dealership would go to bat for you or even take care of it on their dime.

Yes, that is not normal, ask the dealer if it can be warrantied. Otherwise, ask for their body shop and get a quote from them ... They shouldn't have to repaint the whole bumper, just that area and blend it.
