I think the screen has like a shutter to cover the screen. Not sure but just my guess because in one of the pictures, the auto transmission looks small too.

Attended the f10 unvailing last weekend in Kaiserslautern, Germany or Ktown is what all us GIs calls it; and the new F10 was stunning, pictures do not do justice, also had a chance to sit in the new X1 which is also a very nice vehicle, which I was told want hit the states for another year or two. Vehicles displayed was the 520d, 530d, 535 GT and the 535i loaded; the truck on the 535i was automatic with one touch for opening and closing, also there was a switch to lock the doors from trunk; rear seats has handles in truck to realease them, and they lay flat, the cup holders are now in the center console in the front and in the rear seat they are in the pull down middle section of the seats and fold out neatly with the push of a button. I can spend all day telling you how much the F10 differ from the E60. This car has its own present and style, one thing that caught my attention the most is how aggressive this car looks from the rear with the 19 inch wheel awsome.

Some more photos from a 535i, including some shots of the automatic trunk close feature and rear side sunshades.
