42 days from order to arrival for Silver 535
We picked up our Silver 535 last week and it looks and runs great. It was exactly 42 days from order to arrival in the driveway (about two weeks faster than anticipated). It took a couple of days to get used to the clutch, as it is lighter and picks up lower than my old E39. Now if we can just get used to IDrive and no key we will be fine. I have included three pics of the car and one of the old one that we tried to replicate as closely as possible. BTW it only took 6 days to sell the old one, so there are people out there who will buy a stick shift sedan contrary to what the dealer told me.

How do you enjoy the power of the 300 HP and standard transmission... its a rare item!
Didn't opt for the sport pack? Any reason other than pricing? Looks like a beauitiful car, enjoy! |

This is mostly my wife's car and she didn't want the sport package. I guess we will have to wait to experience the full 300 hp as we are supposed to keep it under 4500 RPM for the first 1200 miles. BTW does anyone know if these cars have a rev limiter?

Well, I hope I have your luck with the quick delivery. I'm in the STL area as well. I'm in 150 status right now with expected completion date of 10-20.
