Slots on the roof

What are the 4 slots on the roof for?

I took my car to a auto no touch car wash yesterday and when I got out to wipe it down one of them was raised a little so I just pushed it back down.

Has anyone experienced that issue?

Are you talking about the ones on the side trim piece? If so it's for a roof rack.

If you flip it open you'll see a socket to connect the rack.
