Question on some (somewhat) obscure options

Hi,

I'm weeks away from placing the order for my 520d, but haven't been able to find information on some specific options, namely:

a) Extended music player connectivity - 6NF - I understand this is a snap-in adapter for an iPhone which is cheap and nice, but I'll never have an iPhone - I have an HTC Desire (US = Nexus One). Does that mean I don't need the option?

b) Tire pressure monitor - 2VB - I understand this monitors tire pressure (duh), but how does it work? Does it integrate with iDrive or what? Do I need it - what's the benefit of having it? Couldn't find any pics/videos.

c) Aux heating - 536 - pretty sure I don't need that, but, well what is it? Couldn't find any info?

d) Additional 12V power output - 575 - any idea where that's placed? Perhaps useful to get?

e) Integrated universal remote - 319 - I do have a remote for the (public) garage - does this option allow me to open this directly from the car? How does it work, I assume it needs to be programmed? Not sure I need it...

Thanks for feedback on any of these! Cheers.

Hei

c) aux heating, option number 536.
it's small stove called webasto. I had that on my opel vectra. Nice thing for winter. This webasto burning your diesel/gasoline on small box (small owen)and heating cooling fluid on your car.By the way wentilation system on your car is running, and whole car inside getting warm. Engine also is warmed, whats mean better start at winter, less consumption of diesel/gasoline (you startig warm engine), and no ice on windows.
You can activate aux heating (webasto)by remote controll. It's speciall remote controller which one work on allmost 1km distance.
Or else, you can program date and time on youre car, when webasto supose to start work.
I order this 536 option on my f10.I hope works well.

sorry for my bad english.I hope You understand

Please can you tell me where you found this?
I can't find it in the UK options list, but it's something I'd dearly like to have retro-fitted if possible.

Belgium here, but I think it's being offered throughout continental Europe.

Lucky you!
BMW must assume that it doesn't get cold in Scotland, but I'll check with my dealer to see if it can be fitted.

Well I believe it's for really cold climates (beyond what the AC can handle). It's pretty expensive too so I won't be getting it.

Don't think we can have the diesel heater, but we should have an electric element in the HVAC, like the earlier systems, which help faster cabin warm up.

Don't say lucky guys.

Do you know the prices for the F10 here in germany? It's much higher than in the US!
But you are right, we do have a lot of options, but I don't know if you got less?
