What is the combox? Will I have it? My car hasn't been made yet and I ordered the USB interface.

Hi,

The combox is the new interface that will allow all the new connected drive options (like the upcoming iPod out that will allow an Apple user interface in the car) and many many new things that BMW will be rolling out in 2011.

Definitely a must have !

Agreed, but the big question that impacts us all is: will these upgrades be available, or do you get stuck with the version installed at manufacture? It would be easy for BMW to add new functions to encourage people to purchase a new car. The F11 has only been out 2 months and looking through these posts, there appears to be at least 3 versions of software with different functions (v1.,xx, v1,2xx and v2.xx), with no sign of an upgrade path.
