Roadnoise in my new 550iX F10

Got my 550iX -11 delivered yesterday at Autopartner in Kristianstad, its Alpin white with M-package and the 19" M-alloys and almoast all extras exept screens in the backseat!

Its a fantastic car!! But the roadnoise in it is very high and irritating!!

On my car its Michelin RFT tyres, i have no good experiance of RFT tyre but thought they have been better now bud that dont seem to bee the case..

What tyre should i choose when i will by the 20-21" wheel to avoid the irritaiting roadnoise!!

20-21 will increase road noise not reverse it.

Get an Eisenmann exhaust and KN open air filter. That will fix the road noise :-)

If you buy a conventional non-RFT tire, then that should reduce the road noise. However, if you do go with larger wheels as you mention, you'll end up with a very short sidewall tire, and that will likely make things worse as other people have suggested.
