Vinyl wrapping roof

Does anyone have any experience of vinyl wrapping?
I'm thinking of having gloss black applied to the roof of my white F10 and I'm concerned as to whether it might interfere with signals to the shark-fin antenna.
Any opinions appreciated - thanks.

the casing of the antenna is plastic as well, isn't it? So why should a small fraction of an inch change that? Mine works fine with vinyl!

Common sense would certainly lead you to that conclusion, but from a working lifetime in aviation, I know that antennae can be very sensitive. I've also learnt to ask rather than assume, hence my question
