F10 528 with Quad Exhausts by ROYAL MUFFLER & 3D Design Aerokit
Here are a few pictures of my 528i with custom quad exhausts by Royal Muffler. I know several members of this board including Lacster and Luigimaster have had work done by Jimmy @ Royal Muffler, but for those of you that aren't familiar with them, Royal Muffler is a custom muffler shop in Los Angeles county California.
About a month ago I decided to purchase the 3D design carbon fiber rear diffuser and M-Sport front lip for my car, but there were a few problems... My car isn't an M-Sport, and because it's a 528i I would need to modify the exhaust to make the diffuser work. First, I converted my front bumper to the M-sport version. Second, I took a trip to Royal Muffler. I had heard so many good things about them that I knew if anyone could do quads on a 528 it would be Jimmy. After looking at my car he explained that there was enough room to create a custom quad exhaust setup with 3.5 inch tips - but just barely. I decided to keep the stock muffler on my car as well which gave him very little room to work with, but in the end he did an absolutely flawless job and it turned out exactly the way I wanted. Jimmy can do much more than just exhausts, and he also did a great job installing my 3D design rear diffuser. As you can see, there is almost nothing Jimmy can't do, and that means if you are interested in rear diffusers from Arkym, 3D design or others you don't have to be limited by your current exhaust setup. He has also done duals or quads on several cars and simply modified the stock rear bumper. Jimmy is an absolute perfectionist, and the work he does is second to none. I showed pictures of my car to people with familiarity to custom exhaust work and they were absolutely blown away at how clean it was. If you are interested in exhaust work for your F10, or any other car for that matter, I would strongly recommend that you check out Royal Muffler. http://royalmuffler.com/blog/ Last edited by IE92; 05-16-2011 at 11:18 PM.. |

Royal seems to do an amazing job on custom exhausts. I saw your guys' video on youtube from the mini 3 car meet. Or was it a different car...

damn, excellent work on the exhaust
m-sport front w/ 3d lip + NON m-sport rear w/ 3d diffuser = PERFECT/BEST COMBINATION.

Can't wait to see the Rennen wheels in a few weeks. Too bad they didn't have it ready for you during Bimmerfest.
It would have been a nice addition to their booth |

Are there any performance enhancements for getting a quad exhaust, or is it more cosmetic? These look badass.
