The car sounds surprisingly good cruising and accelerating, but there's no mistaking that it's a diesel while idling...

BMW really ought to bring over a few key diesel "performance line" products (5er, Xer and maybe a 3er) to the US market. With gasoline set to top $5 a gallon this summer... a sporty diesel BMW would fit the bill for many Americans.

Sounds really smooth and buttery on the high end revs, is that a real sound or fake?
I prefer this soundtrack to the M5 one unfortunately .. that V8 sounds a bit irritating, although the exhaust note and farts are nice |

Would be awesome as a Touring. Would go a little way to make up for the lack of an F11 M5.

It really pisses me off that we wont be getting this, I had a 5 as a loaner and loved it. I would replace my is for this especially since the is was an afterthought, I wanted 335d. Well I do hope the next iteration of the d, if we even get one is enticing unless the new F30/F32 M pulls me away
