F10 is Awesome

Finally had a chance to wash the F10 after many days so thought I would post some pics. I must say that the F10 has been a great car so far as has been the N20 engine. The car is the perfect blend of power, comfort, technology, and handling. It can behave any way you like which is what makes it the perfect luxury sedan , and a BMW 5 Series. Initially I thought I would miss my e46, but having graduated to greater luxury, I have never looked back. Thought I would post some pics. Post pics of your F10!

The N20 and N55 both have a SINGLE twin-scroll turbo. The twin-scroll technology allows a single turbo to be just as efficient as 2 single-scroll turbos.

Of course it doesn't have the power of the 535 or 550, but it is very good off the line and delivers enough power until at least 5000rpm after which you feel it drop off. I live in NoVA, close to DC. My driving is all in stop and go traffic. When I got my 535, I seriously considered the 528 due to the economy and the inability to use the 300 HP. Two reasons stopped me:

1. I take a lot of road trips where I CAN use the power.
2. Lack of torque of the N52.

Had the N20 equipped 528 been out, I might have given it more of a thought...

Looks terrific! And nice dealer choice, too. I just got back from a trip to NYC and my car needs a good cleaning. Tree sperm and several billion bugs all over it.

The dealer was very good during the sales process. Haven't been there for service yet. Did you buy your F10 there? Do you go there for service?

I cant wait to go on a long road trip in my F10

Glad you are happy with your purchase. So many posts to these bimmer forums are complaints, etc., that it is good to hear about people who love their new 5 series. I am still in the honeymoon phase with my 2012 535i, so it is all good.

Just picked up a 2012 528xi myself this past weekend. Haven't had but 10s of miles to get to know her yet, but really like it so far, a big step up from my 328 (may she rest in peace, totalled in a car accident a week and a half ago). Imperial Blue with Oyster leather, Cold Weather, Tech and Premium packages.

Sad to hear but I assume the e90 sacrificed itself for you. Hope you are doing ok. Post pic of your new ride.

From the rear doors forward was virtually untouched. I was pushed off to the side of the road, so I didn't hit anyone in the front.
