New | Pedalbox Piggyback Throttle Controller Free Shipping
Gen 3 PedalBox FREE SHIPPING On Sale Now: 299.00 Mike from TWM Performance Here to introduce the Gen3 PedalBox I, along with a few co-workers have been testing the PedalBox, on our personal vehicles and we absolutely love it (I have a 2011 135 with a JB3 and a downpipe.) The PedalBox sharpens throttle response and gets rid of the dead pedal feel in the higher gears. If you don’t know what I am talking about when I say dead pedal, put your car in 6th gear and slowly press the gas pedal. You’ll notice that you have about an inch of travel in the pedal before the car really responds. The PedalBox will fix this problem and is the perfect complement to a tune. I prefer to drive in Sport+ mode, which makes revs come faster and transforms the driving feel of the car. That being said, I am proud to announce that TWM Performance will be Bringing the Pedalbox V3 piggyback throttle controller to North America. Description: The PedalBox, manufactured by DTE Systems of Germany, is a throttle controller designed to suit your preference of driver experience. Most cars of the 21st century use a drive-by-wire system to control the throttle body. Unfortunately, the drive-by-wire system causes subdued acceleration and throttle lag. The PedalBox solves this problem by taking the signal from your pedal and amplifying it, eliminating throttle lag and changing the driving experience. PedalBox has three modes; Sport, Sport+, and Eco mode. Each of which have six levels of adjustability. Sport mode is suited for enthusiast daily driving , Sport+ is for aggressive driving, and Eco Mode is for fuel consumption. Features:
-PedalBox Module -PedalBox Manual -2 reusable Velcro zip ties for tucking wires -adhesive Velcro for mounting Price: These are ON SALE NOW for 299 and we will have FREE SHIPPING for a limited time only. Availability: -Expect to wait 1-2 weeks for arrival Installation: Detailed Video Coming soon. It takes 5 minutes or less once you know what you are doing. Supported BMW Models: All 2001+ Bmw’s Purchase: Click Here Inquiries Welcome: Send a PM if you want a PedalBox for another Car make. We carry them for almost any car! I would Also Like to say that we look forward to offering a wide range of innovative products for many BMW platforms. Thanks for Reading P.S. Sorry for not being a good actor. I will work on that. Hi,
Well, the principle is very similar but the PedalBox does have a LOT of added features. See, the pedalbox only has three different settings; Street, Sport & Race. Each of those increase throttle input by a set percentage. The only difference between a BMW and a Kia SprintBooster is the connector. Here are some of the differences betweem the PedalBox and a Sprintbooster; - Each unit is tuned and programmed by DTE Systems according to its specific vehicle application for maximum response - The PedalBox has 3 modes (eco, sport, Sport+) and 6 different stages for each modes - Optional USB Programer tool, allowing the user to fine-tune custom maps for best and most linear curve for HIS vehicle, no matter what modification is has - ECO mode soften sharp throttle inputs and virtually remove kick-down feature in automatic vehicles for optimal fuel efficiency and ecological driving. - Re-programable, much like our insert technology for our shift knobs, the PedalBox was designed in a way that replacing connectors and reflashing the software for another vehicle is easily done. If ever you change cars and want to keep the pedalbox unit, we can replace both the adapter and software with the appropriate one for your new vehicle. Cheers, Michael Hill Team TWM Performance |

thank you for the response. few more questions.
1. what are the 6 modes in each stage? Are you saying there are total 6x3=18 total different throttle settings?. What is the reason to have so many? 2. I have JB3 from Burger tuning. Will this pedalbox become non-effective/useless since I have the JB3 increasing the boost already? I have heard that sprint booster becomes useless when JB3 is installed. 3. How is it installed. |

You did not answer 1 and 2. I have JB3 tune. If it doesn't do anything once I have another tune installed, it will be useless. Please let me know. |

1, There are 3 modes (Sport, Sport+, Eco), with 6 stages each. You can either raise or lower the aggressiveness of the curves for each modes to really have it set to your personal taste. For example, one may set the pedalbox to Sport -2 for a better response than stock while still retaining some comfort and softness or set it to eco +3 for a response better than stock while still retaining some softness in harsh accelerations for better fuel economy. Cheers, Michael Hill Team TWM Performance 2, Yes it will fit no problem! Two of the guys here have a 135I, one has a JB3 the other a JB4 and both of them have had the pedalbox in their cars for over a month and love it and haven't report any issues whatsoever! |

Thank you Michael
One last question. I know there may not be compatibility issue with a JB3 tune and Pedalbox. But does Pedalbox actually help improving on top of the JB tune? The reason I am asking is because I heard the sprint booster doesn't do any good once you have the JB3 tune because it already got rid of the lags. sorry about all the questions. I need to make sure I get the product that will actually help me with my current set up. |
