Suspension questions for parts experts
Are the dampers and ARBs the same parts on all F30s? Or do the xDrive cars get different dampers/ARBs along with different springs?
If the dampers are different depending on configuration, how many different sets are there? One for the xDrive cars and non-M Sport, and a second for the RWD M Sport? Or 3 different sets, with the xDrive cars getting a set all their own? And if the car is configured with the M Adaptive Suspension EDCs, does it still have the same dampers as a the same car without M Adaptive EDCs? ** Edit to add ** My gut tells me that the dampers on the M Adaptive Suspension are unique... I noticed on BMW's Build Your Own site, when you configure a RWD M Sport (or Sport Line) with M Adaptive suspension, it warns you that you will be removing the M Sport suspension. (No such warning for xDrive and non-Sport RWD cars)
