Having trouble with car wax. I'm using Meguiars
Hey guys I had a question for you hardcore detailers.
The last car I waxed myself was over 12 years ago and my curiosity to try waxing the F10 myself led to a 3 hours hand wash, clay bar, and wax.
One issue I'm finding is that the wax doesn't seem to cure or wipe off completely. I still have residue on there and there are spots that look really black. The car itself is very clean and the gloss and reflections are really great, but on closer inspection you can see that there is some oil or other things left on there that I cant fully wipe off.
Products used from Meguiars:
Car wash soap
Clay bar kit with Quik detailer
Polish
Tech wax 2.0
Applicators, and microfiber towels
I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the wax left a oily residue on their 5er.
