2014 bmw 550xi + BMS stage 1
I have been around the tuning game for a while but not so much with BMW and definitely not so much with this new amazing TT V8.
I have seen the increase for the 2011-2013. But what are the dyno numbers on the 2014 ? Stock? And after BMS tune? Thanks Guys. |

I'm dynoing this week with Terry Burger.
So stay tuned. But I do have catless downpipes so Numbers won't be stock with just bms. |

Were the numbers for the N63TU + BMS ever posted? I don't see them on the BMS site, either.

Just installed the updated N63TU Stage 1 on my 2014 550 and so far so good. This new version is a breeze to install. I can install and un-install in less than 2 minutes.
The difference is VERY noticeable compared to the old Stage 1 and compared to stock. I installed it and drove around aggressively to let the DME adapt. Seems like after every redline pull the car felt faster and faster. I will keep everyone updated once i get some good amount of miles with the tune installed. Terry just posted on his forum that he has 3 N63TU stage 1 tunes currently in stock Alan

I don't think Terry has a install guide yet but it is VERY simple.
Lift off the engine cover. You can just pull it up starting from the front closest to the kidney grills and lift it up off the engine. No tools needed. Locate the left and right MAF sensors. its pretty much right next to the intake tubes. Swap in the JB tune boxes on each side. Done. Alan

I just received my BMS Stage 1. The install will happen today!
I will report back as soon as I put some more miles on the beast. I will also be placing a few more 0-60mph videos =) Let the fun begin! |

Yes. Too bad it might be awhile before we could with all this snow and more coming this weekend. I am lighting up my snow tires even when there isn't snow on the ground.
