I just posted pics of my carbon front and rear setup. They're very straight forward and while the front lip may take some modification and drilling, not difficult at all. If you have a higher quality setup they should fit better than most Ebay items.
Assuming you have an M-Sport For the rear, there are 3 or 4 screws underneath and a handful of "push pins" holding it on. Remove those and then pull gently towards you and out starting on one side of the bumper cover and then the other. It should just pop right out, only held on by simple tabs. Once it's off the carbon one goes on just as easy. The front will take more work depending on the fit but it should be straight forward as well. |

It is pretty easy, Ill look around for a DIY as I have seen a couple on the forums. I recently installed a vorsteiner lip and would recommend you get a second person to help. If you have some blocks to raise the front end up, that helps. You basically just need a few self tapping screws, as the front lip should have pre cut holes underneath which you simply screw up into the bumper. The "difficult" part is keeping the lip in place while you install the screws. I only had myself, so I wedged a stack of books up under the lip to keep it in place while I secured the screws. It came out a little lower than I wanted, but its on securely.
And I also just did a diffuser install, which is extremely easy. There is 4 or 5 pins on the underside which you simply pop out first. Once those are undone, the diffuser has clips all the way around the top and sides, but these pop right out with a soft pull. Work your way around starting on one side, and with a little pulling it will fall right off. I'd recommend having a towel underneath in case you drop the diffuser, although its very light so it's not likely you will

Thanks Guys, the front is OEM Performance lip, so fitment shouldn't be an issue. I'll play with that this weekend. I look forward to the DIY if you ever find it, BMWJunkie.

No, its not necessary to remove the front bumper. Just try to park somewhere where you have enough room to get under and operate the drill straight. For now, heres the diffuser video I used
Diffuser install:

Like others stated, it helps to have another person and elevate the front of the car. Also, you might consider using betalink. Please keep us posted.

Thanks, I will. I am buying from another forum member locally. it comes with the 3mm tape. Will that be sufficient? The splitter/spoiler comes with 5 pre drilled hole. 2 on each splitter and one on the middle. Are they meant to be used with the same fasteners under the bumper cover?
