Thanks for sharing this! I always thought that the F10 was a lot bigger, but these photos show that they are almost the same size! I love both these cars,IMHO both models will be classics and will be admired in the years to come! Great job BMW!

The f10 looks huge next to that e60 from the front angle. Anyone that doesn't think so needs to get their eyesight checked. And the styling looks like it was designed in an Asian firm. Like Lexus whipped up a design with BWM influences. I really am not a fan of where the new BMW design team has the cars headed.

Well, i kindda think unlike u. IMO, I think the F10 design characteristic is what BMW 5 SERIES should always be, and which i also think it was used to be. For example, E39 & E34 and all of the generations before the E60, they kindda share at lease half of their each design characteristic to each others, and then the E60 came. It is just different, very different from it previous predecessors, and its like the only design thing it shares with its previous generations is the "BMW design charecteristic", but "almost" NO 5 series design characteristic. E60 is a very nice lookin car. I LOVE it since the first time i saw it, and love it even more when the Lci and M-Sport Pack came out. It is jus AWESOME!! However, F10 looks even nicer than the E60 to me becuz, first the design is being somehow goes back to what BMW 5 series should looks like, but still modern enough for today and the up comin' future. Second, it does not look too eye catchy (on the other hand, it looks more bland). Third, it looks more well finished from inside out, and that makes its a proper German car. P.S. Sorry for my poor English. |

I bought a 04 530 when they came out, I liked it thought it was a nice car. Then I leased a 07 335 great car just a little to small, I have my 11 535 now and it is the best BMW I have ever had. It makes the E60 feel cheap in comparison, The F10 just feels like it has better build quality and the materials feel and look better. As far as styling goes I still think the E60 is an attractive car however the F10 really looks great to me. And its much more attractive than a E Class, I agree nice front on the E class but the back looks really bad.

The E39 (in particular the E39 M5) takes that title without a doubt in mind. In fact, I'd go as far as saying the E39 is the best looking BMW yet

I think the F10 looks better at all angles. The E60's trunk looks huge in comparison.

E39 was and still is the best looking 5-series to date. I loved my E39 540i much more than my E60 550i.
My E92 M3 blows all of these cars out of the water Drove the new F10 550i for about 30 minutes, great car, gorgeous inside, just like a baby 7 without the massive bulkiness but it's not nearly as aggressive as my E39 540i Sport was nor my E60 550i Sport. The F10 550i Sport won't be that aggressive either, albeit better than the current bland F10 535i/550i.

Quite a few of my friends either stayed with E39, or moved to MB E class to avoid the E60. Me on the other hand, is moving from MB AMG E and C to the F10.......

The E39 just like the F10 is ok, but sometimes a bit too soft looking, but the F10 compared to the E60, more difference than I thought... the E60 never was my kind of car(I prefererred the E Class W211) Cheers Robin |

And I just hate the F10 front end. In that picture where the have em head to head, the E60 just eats the F10 away.
