XDEEDUBBX 's Very Slow Build Thread
Hey guys, well here goes my very slow build thread. Don't expect many great things either lol. I will update this every time I execute a mod. I'm a fan of DIY mods so you will typically see more of those with my build. I purchased my car in Sept 2011.
The day I picked it up from the Stealership. Its a 2011 535i, sports package, and nav: And here goes my first round of DIY mods. I had some spare carbon fiber vinyl laying around so I put it to good use: This one came out kinda shabby but oh well: And I plasti dipped my grills, came out pretty good IMO: Thats it for now. I ordered some wheels a couple weeks ago so I'm hoping they come in before Xmas LOL! |

Wow very cool hands on touches. I like how you did the matte grille.

Nothing special, I was thinking about making my own set of vortex generators then spraying the center part black. Still deciding on what to use..
I saw that, man I would pick that up in a heartbeat but I have other priorities right now =( |

I did some work on it again yesterday, got better results this time around but still wasn't happy with the way it came out. I will be ordering some matte /flat black vinyl and just go that route.
don't mind the junk in the garage lol, in the process of clearing it out lol |

thanks. Vinyl will come out a lot cleaner, last time I tried it I didn't have enough vinyl (never measured lol).
Next week I plan on taking it to get tinted! |

No not yet, maybe on Friday if I have time I'll get it done.
Here's a pic from the tint shop. Went with limo tint. Love the blacked out look! I'll take pix of it tomorrow after a wash and detail. |
