The 2012 M5 (F10) will come in a fairly extensive choice of colors, including some beautiful individual exterior color options. One of the individual exterior color options is Brilliant White Metallic, which we've spotted hanging out at BMW M HQ in Garching, Germany. Pics courtesy of Dackelone.

Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 factory test car also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.

As for the brakes not being blue, it's probably because it's not a production M5, but a factory test car.

The F10 M5 will be making its world public debut in September at the Frankfurt IAA Autoshow.

For now, we've put together a color preview guide for the F10 M5, which can be seen at http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=546540

Probably because it's just a factory test car (says so on rear trunk) and not a production model.

Don't keep your hopes up, blue brakes will be standard on the production cars.

Best regards,

I wonder if anyone can/will color the chrome side scuttle the same as the body so it looks like it's blended in like the current M3.

Gorgeous! For some reason I wouldn't get a red interior with this though.

I love this color even if I haven't seen it IRL yet! Seems incredibly rare on any bimmer.

Something just looks off about this car... I'm guessing the wheels. Those small and black wheels make the car look extremely cheap. I feel like I'm looking at a 5 year old unoptioned BMW parked on some ghetto street.

Wheels make the world of a difference on a car... this one needs bigger wider ones, in a nice silver/polished finish to bring out the car.

Agreed. Black wheels look too ghetto.
