I purchased with no discount. I'd like to know if anyone received a discount on ordering a 2014 when 2013s are still in the lots (besides the $750 discount for being a previous owner).

I didn’t calculate any incentives Loyalty, drive event and possible Eco credit on 535D. I could end up few grand below invoice. We'll see.

I'm sure most of you know this, but make sure your quoted price includes all fees. In the U.S. there should be Destination, MACO and Training. Any other fees (Dealer Prep, Doc prep etc.) are garbage fees that need to be rejected by the potential buyer. Bottom line: don't be one of those people who thinks the benevolent Dealer sold them the car at Invoice, only to find out they paid $1500 over invoice because fees were excluded from the quoted price.

That's correct! The only fee I pay up front is $725.00 bank fee, registration and first payment. I agree they get very creative sticking those fees in to your contract. Thanks for the info!

Can I ask how you got the $1000 discount? I attended the driving event but did not receive an email with the discount info. I just called BMWNA and they were able to give me a code over the phone. Is that sufficient? Thanks in advance! |

I received an e-mail from BMWNA containing my coupon code 2 days after the event. Your code should be fine, but I'd recommend contacting your Client Advisor to make sure they don't need the entire e-mail. Also of course, the event has to be attended before the order is placed, or if you're buying from Dealer stock, before taking delivery. |

Yes - state tax, DMV, State tire fee possibly, and any fees associated with your method of financing. This is from a U.S. perspective.

+1 on multi contour seats. I'm 6'2 and without extension seat would be too short.

Thanks for the number!! Just called and it's at the paint shop with expected completion date of 6/29. I thought production STARTED 7/2 so I was pleased to hear the 6/29 date. I'm trying to schedule a Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina and the guy at BMWUSA could not tell me about what date that might be. Too early which I expected but had to ask! |

I asked my dealer to sign me up for the Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina and I pasted the response from the BMW Performance Center Delivery Team back to my dealer below. It’s a little hard to read but looks like things are on hold until the EPA and CARB Certifications are issued by the government. My 550i was completed today (6/29) and now I have no idea when it will be able to be released.
BMW Performance Center Delivery The Ultimate Delivery Experience™ Dear , Thank you for submitting a Performance Center Delivery reservation for David Thurmond. Unfortunately, this production number is a new model or new model year and we cannot offer a delivery date at this time. EPA and CARB Certifications are issued by the government and must be obtained for every model every year, regardless of any change (or not) in the production of the vehicle. The vehicle will remain at the VDC/VPC until approvals are all holds have been removed. The vehicle will not ship to The BMW Performance Center or your BMW Retail Center. Please inform your client that we will contact you with a delivery date as soon as all EPA and CARB Certifications have been received by BMWNA and the Monroney/EPA and Release holds have been removed. Should the client wish to cancel you will need to submit a cancellation form which can be found on CENTERNET. Please be aware, BMW Manufacturing will not offer public tours effective April 29, 2013. We expect public tours to resume early summer 2014. A bulletin announcing details about the re-introduction of tours will be released when timeframes are known. If your customer attends on a date when the factory tour is not available, they will receive a certificate at delivery allowing them to schedule a factory tour at a later date, once the public tours resume. Thank you for your patience! BMW Performance Center Delivery Team |
