Back in a Euro AGAIN!

I've been on various (BMW mainly) forums for 20 years. Have owned all but the original 8 series (which I still want). Slipped up and bought a Mercedes to replace my Land Rover and almost lost my love for Euros! Switched to Infiniti to take a "break" until I decided what I wanted. The more I looked the more I knew I was tossed between an F80 M3, 640i GC, or an F10 535 or 550.

Decided on the 5351 M Sport. Didn't want the worries that came with the 550 (v8), M3 is really nice but a little small and as much as I loved the look of the 6 GC, it was too much of a boat.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying the 535i M SPort. 1st pic is when my wife parked it at home next is doing the 1st and most necessary mod... tint. Looking forward to really learning this new (to me) platform and mod options. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GBQJAUPe3SxtXapm9

Everyone loses their way somewhere along the line. It sounds as though you have tortured yourself long enough, lol. Glad to see that you came back to BMW!

Nice ride. What year? I have a 2011 Cashmere Silver (I think that's what it is called), MHD stage 2+ (getting a custom tune from Bradley), ER catless dp, 20" Forgestar F14s, VRSF cp, VRSF intercooler and a few other things that i am forgetting. If you ever decide to do a custom tuning on your car pm me and i will give his number.

Sounds nice! I was actually seriously considering F14s. they're one of my favorite wheels. I may hit you up. I'm learning the turbo Bimmer tuning. Any pics?

Love the F14s but i have bent the passenger side front and rear from hitting pot holes. But besides that they totally transformed the look of my car. Forum won't let me post pictures here due to the large file size but pm me your email and i can email them to you.

MHD OTS tune is great but if you want a tune optimized just for your car then custom is the way to go. But I also got a hell of a deal on it so I can't really complain too much.

Can you give me more info on that tune? I'd like to increase another 70-100hp but stay reliable and good drivability. I plan to do exhaust as well so what will contribute some. I've been looking at the CAIs and they look like they breathe in the heat above the engine so not sure that's optimal other than hearing the turbo more

Do you currently have a tune? For starters I would go with a MHD stage 1 93 octane tune and datalog with it. Depending on your mods i would go with a custom tune after that.

Person that is currently writing a tune for my car is Russel Bradley. If you want his contact info pm me and i will pm you back his cell.

The car is completely stock. The only "mods" are the tint and matte black grills I did so far.

What supporting mods do I need for the MHD Stage 1 93 Octane tune? Reliability is #1, but I gotta have fun too. I love the possibilities with the N55. I wanted an M5 but I don't pay big money for my cars. I save that for my wife's and with all the issues I see with pretty much any BMW 8cyls, especially the N63/tu they weren't an option
