If I knew then on frozen paint

Frozen black has been a month journey of constant research and education many kind people on this site thank you . And much trail and error . BMW love them love my car but just saying soap and water there needs to be more said on how to protect the paint better I get there worried . It’s a touchy paint to say the least my first water spot had me freaking out .

I read everything it seemed like … was scared to go to a multi year ceramic coating what if it changes the tint or color no couldn’t do it … all PPf could not do that either happy for those who are happy for sure … I made a big mistake and nano waxed the frozen paint the good stuff and wanted to puke the next day . Much darker had to come off and it all did thank goodness. I learned to start in a area inside the doors and after much reflecting and deliberation I did just that with a ceramic spray … and used Jimbo’s detailing hard as shell … went slow and eventually used it on the whole frozen paint and could not be happier it’s not for years did not change the paint Finnish at all water beads up and bird poop wipes right off . I was e mailing Jimbo was in a panic he talked me off the ledge … and could not be happier . Feel I can exhale now . 4 months later took me a bit .
Best of luck to others

The picture has winter tire and rims … 21 inch all around there great

Frozen paint definitely isn't for everyone (nor I for my next car). The BMW nano wax definitely changes the color at first, but the change in color wears off after a couple washes. For me, the worst part of the nano wax is how sticky it makes the car for a couple weeks. You can't drive more than a few miles without the car just being covered in dust/dirt. It also smears a bit during washes, you'll get the product on the glass of the car, and you then have to buff it out. I only apply it once a year due to this, but so far so good overall with the paint. The worst part about frozen paint for me is explaining to the 9 out of 10 people who ask about that car that no, it's not a wrap.

I'm with Jeenius: If you have frozen paint just got all in on Dr. Beasley's. I absolutely love the stuff so far and keeps the frozen paint in OEM condition.

I used Matte Film Coating since I had PPF. Application was super simple.

I walked by a Frozen Gray X5 in New Hampshire today and pointed it out to my daughter. Man it just looks so dang good. It really sets your X5 apart from all the others.

For the black trim on the BMW label Jimbo’s hard as shell really made that piano trim pop … have that figured out.

I started doing co tact wash’s since have stopped no need …saw a detailer say most marks on black paint are from the owner made me think .

I ll foam with a soap for the need of the car first no rinse ever first … then soap with Jimbo’s super soaper it’s just better … on my GM super cleans the tires and rims like a brush .

Blow dry 90% and spray some ceramic spray and the car is great good to go limit the touching I do on the car … feels better now I have a system that seems to be working
